Oh!! Did you want to see a card too? Well, I made this one just for this occasion. Well, not the bad day part, but all the images can be found at Rubbernecker in the Jitter Bug section. The images were stamped with Ranger Black Soot Distress ink and were colored with copics. I ran out of white eyelets, so I compensated by using my crop-a-dile and outlined the holes with my Sakura white souffle pen. I thought the faux eyelets went well with the eyelets in the shoe. The sentiment was created with my Mac Windows program, printed on an ivory paper I had laying around and punched out with SU's word window punch. I added the leg by just cutting some bazzill sponging the edges with Salmon Adirondack ink, and sliding it in the slit I cut in the top of the shoe.

Okay, here's where I confess. This whole concept is not entirely mine...very little actually. *grin* Laurie (Lauraly) told me to have a shoe hovering over the ant. And Carolyn (Cammie) gave me the sentiment idea. What good friends I have!! Woot!!

Supplies
Stamps - Rubbernecker
Paper - Ballet Blue, Groovy Guava
Ink - Adirondack Salmon, Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink
Accessories - Crop-a-dile, Sakura White Souffle Pen, Queen and Co. mini sprinkles, SU word window punch, sponge, copics

Fabulous card just love it..well done. Copic colouring would have to be my favourite at the moment I haven't any copic pens but I'm working on it.

I'm still a fairly new stamper.....so I don't use too many techniques yet. I LOVE the look of the Copic markers but I don't own any yet. Right now I'm trying to perfect my gamsol and colored pencil technique.

My favorite (and most often used!) technique would have to be watercolor pencils with a Dove blender pen. I love so many others, though, and love looking at the work on blogs to get ideas - like yours!!! Thank you! And thanks for the chance!

You may have fabulous friends for the idea of your card (and they are fabulous!!), but your artwork and coloring are fantastic! I love this whole card! So adorable and expresses my sentiments on some days exactly! LOL

Oops - forgot to say my technique - I was so taken with the shoe!!

My fav technique is watercoloring -- I just really like the different looks that you can get depending on the color hues and the paper you choose (and a little rhyme to go with it!). My comment is #10! Or #9 heehee!

I love prisma pencils/gamsol because I can use this on virtually every card...but my all time favorite thing is to cover an entire image with heat and stick and shiny, sparkly glitter! YUM!

Great card! TFS! Very cute!!!
Currently, thanks to Rubbernecker, watercloring is my favorite! I love to use my Watercolor Crayons or transfering the ink from a marker with my aqua painters. I do reserve the right to change my favorite technique without warning! ;)

Great card! Thanks for sharing!

Right now my favorite techinque, thanks to Rubbernecker, is watercoloring. I use either my Watercolor crayons or transfer ink from my markers with aqua painters. I do reserve the right to change favorite techinques without warning! ;)

#14 Love your coloring! What a fantastic card! My favorite (right now) is using Tombow/SU markers and a watercolor brush. I'm trying to practice and get better. Too many fun techniques - not enough time!

I am really into distressing right now--with ink, sanding, or just roughing up the edge of a piece of paper.

Beautiful work. My favorite technique right now is prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I'm thinking on buying a few copic markers to start off with but I still love my pencils.
