Head on over to the CCEE Stampers blog for instructions on how to do just that!!I thought it would be fun to make my own dp with this gorgeous Filigree Fantasy set by Verve.
I also tried a (new to me) smooth white paper, that I'm now in love with. It's called Simply Smooth White and it's made by Prism. Yummy stuff!! I've used my copics on it too, and it's wonderful with them also. But, for this project, I took my Old Paper (Ranger Distress Ink) pad and rubbed it directly on the paper. Then I used two Filigree designs and stamped them onto the paper with the same Old Paper Distress ink. Here's what the paper looked like and the images I used.
Since the Verve images are clear, it's very easy to line them up.I finished off the sketch with a Verve Plain Jane: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10
The Crocheted Ribbon is May Arts, and the flower was created with the SU 5-petal flower punch, and Martha Stewart flower punches, along with an Anna Griffin decorative brad.
