Rox always provides such awesome sketches on SCS. I always look forward to her Wednesday sketch each week. This week I flipped the sketch and added a strip of cs across the bottom third so I could make a Platform for this Night Owl from Clearly Wordsworth's set, It's Your Day.
For the background, I just took my Adirondack Dye Ink pads and ran them across Solar White Neenah paper. Always start with your lightest color. I started with Butterscotch, then added Caramel, Rust, and finally a touch of Pesto.
I then stamped the Baroque Leaves Background (JudiKins) with Tuxedo Black (Memento). The owl was inked up with Rust then rock -n- rolled with Espresso (Adirondack) and stamped on Sunflower Medium Prismatic Card Stock.
Finally, I ink distressed all the edges with Slate (Adirondack). All the CS is Prismatics. I used Sunflower Medium and Dark, black and white.
The dots are all rain dopts by Cloud9 Design.
Thanks for stopping by...
