I loved this image Nature's Dance (Penny Black) the minute I saw it. It's sweet simplicity lends itself to so many color possibilities. I chose a mainly white card today with a hint of Baby Blue Medium (Prismatic) because I wanted to add Fun Flock to my Doodlebug double-sided adhesive shapes. I used glitter the last time, but I wanted a softer look for this card.
The image was stamped on Prismatic White with Tuxedo Black (Memento), and also with stamped off Bashful Blue (Stampin' Up). I cut out the blue bird and mounted it with dimensional tape over the black image, and coated the berries with Xmas Red Stickles.
I found the silver ribbon attachment piece in the jewelry section at Walmart. I have no idea what it's called or what it's for in regards to jewelry, but it worked perfectly to attach my ribbon. I just added Adornit jewels to the middle of the jewelry piece, and around the outside of the card.
I also put an ultrafine layer of crystal glitter on the bluebird with my Quickie Glue Pen.
Supplies:
Stamps - Nature's Dance (Penny Black)
Paper - Baby Blue Medium and White (Prismatic)
Ink - Tuxedo Black (Memento), Bashful Blue (Stampin' Up)
Accessories - Stickles, Quickie Glue Pen, Ultrafine glitter, jewelry piece, adornit jewels, Stick with it adhesive transfers (Doodlebug), Fun Flock, Corner Ticket punch (Stampin' Up), organdy ribbon
