ODBD October Release Preview

I'm so excited that October is finally here.  These next two months are my favorite of the whole year.  Now if only the weather would cooperate.  I'm ordering
cooler temperatures.  Well, being that it's the first of October, I have a couple of cards to share using one of ODBD newest releases called Candy Cane.

I created my first card with a rustic vintage feel.  I love the rustic look of the candy cane and bow.  So I colored it with Copics, cut it out and mounted it over a Vellum bag and tag by Melissa Frances.

Here's a look at the tag...sweet and simple.

I made my second card CAS.  I just layered 3 strips of Washi tape in the background, and diecut the main panel with the A2 Spellbinders Card Creator die.  Easy peasy.

That's it for me.  Here's a list of everyone sharing their previews today.

I know I'm likely to see some totally gorgeous vintage creations when I come by here, and I'm not disappointed :D. I just love the way the tag tucks into the vellum pocket. And what a beautiful CAS card you created for your second sample. It's fun to see the same image used twice in such different ways.
