I am so excited to share my Power Poppy card for today!! And, since it's a new month, we have a new Power and Spark Challenge!
So grab a map, use it to spark a little cardmaking creativity and then, link your creation up HERE . If you play along, you'll be in the running to win a $50 Shopping Spree to the Power Poppy Shop! But wait, there's more! Becky Fleck, the fabulous Pagemaps guru, is also offering a $25 Power Poppy gift card and all you need to do is leave a comment on THIS post! The Pagemaps contest closes January 22nd, so hop on over soon! We can't wait to see what you create.
Now, for the details of my card.
I used two Clear Power Poppy Stamp sets: Pure Prairie Spirit and Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips ("wishing" sentiment). I cut around the butterfly and a portion of the flower and leaves and diecut it using a Long Classic Rectangle die (Spellbinders). I used a variety of other dies for some framing and strips too.
Lastly, the image was colored with Copics.
That's it for my project today. Be sure to check out the following blogs for some more sketch and card inspiration:

Absolutely gorgeous coloring and beautiful card. Looks like all the bloomies are wishing for spring! (Smile)
Wow, Tosh! Your coloring is what catches my eye first! I love this image, and your coloring is beautiful and brings out the detail and depth of these flowers and butterfly! Love it! And what a great take on the sketch! Beautifully done! Warm hugs and love, sweet friend! xoxo
Love how you’ve used the sketch Tosh, and how you oriented the stamp to work here. Awesome use of colour in that bouquet too!
I really like how you matted the main elements with black! And your colouring is just amazing - that butterfly looks like it's ready to fly off the page!
As I was reading this post this morning, I said to myself, "Pagemaps, what are Pagemaps?" Then I clicked and found some beautiful sketches to design cards. Now, I am so excited to get started and can't decide which one of the "maps" I want to do. Maybe more than one. Lol
Your card and coloring are so inspiring.
Absolutely Gorgeous, great design for it!
This is STUNNING!! The little black matting around all the elements makes everything POP!! Great design!
