Wishing you a "Reely" great day ~ Power Poppy

Hello my creative friends!!  It's finally Friday, and I have two Power Poppy cards to share with you today.  The first one was made with one of the newest digital sets Reel Deal, and my second was made using another masculine Power Poppy set called Play Ball.

I colored the Reel Deal image with Copics and decided to make it look like it was all laid out on a dock.  I hand drew the dock and Colored it too with Copics.  I'm a little heavy handed with my Copics, so my dock doesn't look all worn and weathered like I imagined.  But you get the idea, right?

I also added some Clear Wink of Stella to the fishing line because fishing line always looks shiny to me.  Lastly, I burnished everything in the image to give it some texture, and added the sentiment with a little diecut flag and a mini-staple.

Copics:  Hat and Fishing Rods ~ E47, E44, E43, E41, BG99, BG96, BG93, BG90, R14, B04, B02  Lures ~ B04, B02, YG01, R14, YR09, YR00, YR04, Y17, YR00 Floor ~ N7, N5, N3, N1, N0, E43, E41, Multiliner 0.3

I made this baseball shaped card for a nephew that plays softball.  I diecut it using the smallest Grand Circle die by Spellbinders, and used Power Poppy's Play Ball set along with a diecut star and enamel dot to finish it off.  It's very CAS, but it fits him perfectly.

We'd love it if you joined us for our Power and Spark Challenge too.  You could win a free digital or clear set from Power Poppy!!  For all the details, visit this link to the Power Poppy Blog.

That's it for my projects today.  For some more inspiration, check out the following Bloom Brigaders:

Thank you so much for dropping by today!  Have a super fantastic weekend!!  I know I plan on it!!

Happy Stamping!

Oh, Tosh, your first card is brilliant, and I love your dock and the amazing color - both of your dock and the hat with accessories. I think it's perfect just the way it is colored, and I love how recycled cardboard looks on the base! Fabulous card for any guy! And you niece is going to LOVE the baseball card. Guys don't go as crazy as we girls do, but he's going to love that you made it just for him since he plays softball. Great cards for today, my friend, and you really topped it with your first one! Wow! Big hugs, and enjoy the weekend!

I am sitting here with my jaw open. After seeing this unbelievable background and finding out that you drew it, well, I had to comment on this card. That background looks 3 D and so real. This is an outstanding job. Love the second baseball card too. This is a great idea and one that my grandson would love. It would fit him too.

Amazing dock background, Tosh, and it's absolutely perfect for the image! It looks pretty weathered to me. You gals are rockin' this digi release! Love the corrugated panel and the sentiment and the whole works. And your baseball card is just as amazing and would be so fun to duplicate. I love how you sponged the edges and kept it simple. Totally fabulous!
