Springtime Love with PowerPoppy

Our first Power Poppy set, hot off the presses, may have you hearing the alluring tones of a French accordion and whispering Ooh La La. Springtime Love  is in the air and this set embodies romance -- with passionate petals and love-laced sentiments. Illustrated by Marcella Hawley as she went in for the kiss, this beauty of a set measures 4" by 6".

I can hardly believe I get to continue to work with Marcella's stunning images!!  Her attention to detail and creative eye are so inspiring!  I love nature, and flowers are right at the top of that list.  So I had the most delightful time coloring this circle of beautiful flowers!

I colored them with Copics (click on the image for a closer look at the Copics I used) and added a bit of sparkle with some Clear Rock Candy Glitter (Ranger).  I added a Scalloped border and a Picot Edge diecut frame (Spellbinders), along with some Glass Glitter around the background border.  Lastly, I added some wrinkled seam binding and lace with a yo-yo flower I made awhile ago.

That's it for my project today, now that you've been swept away with that free-feeling Springtime Love, why not traipse around to take in some more? The Bloom Brigade has plenty to share!

Gorgeous card! Such a beautiful stage you set with the other elements besides the image. And the image! Just beautifully colored.

Tosh, did you use the same stamps as the ones illustrated? They look totally different to me. I see the dangling heart flowers and the ribbon on the bouquet but the rest of the images look different to me. Whatever you used, they are gorgeous!
