Yikes!! I've been gone for awhile. Well, it's for good reason. I was helping my youngest get ready for a 2000 mile move to college: shopping, organizing, packing, shipping boxes ahead, getting books, and then finally moving her there. We just got home this week, and I came down with the flu (that she had a few days before leaving...don't ya just love it when kids share? :)
So, I'm back for the Verve Diva Inspirations Hop. The Diva Inspiration team and a few special guests from the Release team are here to start your month off right with a little Verve inspiration!
For my card, I paired the new diecuts: Tagged Rectangle and Tiny Sweet Scallop dies with a recently released set Tag Time and a wonderful Fall set called Autumn Splendor. (Which is on sale this month...read to the bottom of the post for more details.)
The dp is from Bo Bunny's et Cetera Collection, as well as the plaid ribbon (Which I gathered), leather and crocheted trim. The vintage button is from Basicgrey, and I added a stick pin with beads and some Natural Burlap String.

Beautiful card - I can't imagine what a creation looks like when you are at the top of your form and feeling good - LOL! Moved my youngest back to Rochester, NY for his sophomore year a week ago. That is far enough (5 hrs) so I cannot imagine 2000 miles. Good luck and hope you are feeling better soon!

oh, that ribbon is just delicious!! What a find!! I hope the move went well. 3 of my siblings are empty nesters this year (I've been for 5 years) and one of my sister's was very teary eyed last night at a family dinner. It gets easier :) Hope all is well with you :)
