Once again, it's time for a CCEE Stamper's Challenge. This week Frances challenged us to be inspired by a nursery rhyme. I chose Paddycake, Paddycake:
Paddycake, Paddycake, baker's man,
Bake me a cake as fast as you can;
Roll it, pat it, mark it with a B,
Put it in the oven for baby and me.
Bake me a cake as fast as you can;
Roll it, pat it, mark it with a B,
Put it in the oven for baby and me.
Well, this card isn't for a baby. I chose to make it for a friend instead. :o)
The beautiful cake image is from the Flourishes set called Let Them Eat Cake. I stamped it with Versamark directly onto the dp Sophie by My Mind's Eye, embossed with Detail Black ep, diecut it with my Spellbinders Rectangle die and sponged around it (while still in the die) with Aged Mahogany (Ranger Distress Ink).
Now, head on over to the CCEE Stamper's Blog to see what the other girls have come up with. Click HERE. We'd love to see what nursery rhyme inspires you too. Just use Mr. Linky at the bottom of the post.
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Stamping!!
