Let's Chill ~ Power Poppy and a SALE!!

Hello!!  I hope my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I actually spent a few hours yesterday morning up at Wonder Valley Ranch and Resort in the Sierra foothills.  I was blessed with the opportunity to teach a group of Senior citizen's how to make Gift Bag Toppers and decorate their bags for Christmas.  We had a delightful time, and I got to meet some super fun and interesting people.  One couple had just been married for 3 years.  He was 83, and she was 90 and legally blind.  She told me I had to let people know that even a blind woman can make a gift bag.  What a hoot!  I ended the day spending time with my husband's family very grateful for all I've been blessed with.

http://powerpoppy.com/ And now, I have a project, to share, that I made using the new Power Poppy digi image called Let's Chill!  And.....this set is only $1 from now through Monday!  No joke... $1!!  And....all clear and digital stamps are 20% off!  Seriously my friends!!  Power Poppy is having an awesome sale!
Isn't this snowman just A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!!    I colored him with Copics, cut him out, burnished the back of him to give him some dimension, and popped him up on the main image I printed.

See the background?  That snowflake background image is also included with this digi set.  I just printed it in a light blue, and increased the transparency in Word to make it lighter.  You can see it better in the close-up below.

Here's a close-up profile so you can see the dimension.  LOVE this dapper guy!  I also added some Flower Soft to the snowy areas.

That about sums up my project for this weekend.  Be sure and check out what the following Bloom Brigaders have to share.  I know their little snowmen are as cute as can be!!  Some of the Instant Gardeners have some sweet projects to share also, so for their links, stop by the Power Poppy Blog.
Copics:  YR68, YR65, YR31, B97, B93, B91, W7, W5, W0, W3, W2, E49, E44, E42, R37, R32, R30, B0000, B000

Thank you so very much for stopping by!  I hope you enjoy a blessing filled weekend!

   Happy Stamping!

Oh, he's wonderful! You gave him so much life and character and I LOVE it! What a great day you had with the older folks, too. I think it does sound like a lot of fun. They were some of my favorite people when I worked in the lab. You just need to listen to them. They have a lot of fascinating history behind them and stories to tell.

Tosh, love him! Those colors and the knit textures you used make him look warm in spite of being snowman!
