Power Poppy will be hosting some fun challenges this month! Each Friday, we'll have a challenge for you to help get the creativity flowing, and this week we're having a color challenge. All you need to do, is use three of the four colors in your creation and you'll have a chance to win a stamp set of your choice. Entries will be accepted until 3PM EST on May 30th, and a winner will be announced on June 2nd, after the June Release. When uploading to Splitcoaststampers, use the Keyword: PPWORLD1
Check out the Power Poppy Blog for all the rules on how you can participate.
I chose to use Orange, Yellow and green for my card. And, before I go any further, I need to give credit to Lydia Fiedler (understandblue: Splitcoastampers). She inspired me to try coloring on Pastel paper with Faber-Castell Ploychromos Colour Pencils. It was super fun, and gave this beautiful digital Tulips image (Power Poppy) a whole new look. The digital image printed beautifully on the Pastel paper.
For the inside, I just printed the sentiment, from the Gladioli (Power Poppy) set, directly onto the Pastel paper, tore it and added some white pigment ink to the edges.
That's it for my project today. If you haven't seen what the rest of the Bloom Brigade has to share, check out their blogs listed below:
