A Good Day to Play with Patterns

For the Technique Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers, Judy has challenged everyone to use 3 patterns or more on a card; paper or stamps.  I chose paper since I wanted to focus on the fun loopy burlap string flower I made.  Each loop is just individually glued with hot glue onto a felt circle.  I wanted various sizes so it wouldn't look symetrical.

The sentiment is from the Waltzingmouse Stamps set Playful Pinwheels.

Everything is pretty self explanatory so I won't bore you with all the details.

Thanks for visiting!!
Happy Stamping!

Tosh, a beautiful card. I am always amazed how you can utilize neutral colors and come up with some so tailored and elegant at the same time. That little bit of stitching looks great!

The flower is an awesome embellishment on your card. Can't wait to try using some jute that has been crying out for some attention on a western-themed card :-)

Well, look at you just playing and creating away!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, your stunning twine flower, Tosh. It is such a beauty and very focal backed by your muted and understated patterns which display a beauty all their own, as well. We are finishing up our new house so all my stamping stuff is in boxes and will likely stay there for a month or more yet!! Hugs ~ Michele
