I can hardly believe it's the 17th of March already. And this is a special day. Not only for Waltzingmouse Stamps, but for my husband who is celebrating his birthday today. :)
The theme for this month's Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Party, of course, is St. Patrick's Day...green, shamrocks, etc. So I made a green based card, including a bitty shamrock and birthday sentiment from the Celtic Heritage set, created a background using an image from the new set Heirloom Patterns, and added a varigated butterfly from the new set Nordic Spring using Tea Leaves VersaMagic ink, and Pearlescent Sky Blue Brilliance ink. The bg was stamped with Latte (a muse), and the shamrock was stamped onto dp.
I diecut the center using Labels 18 and a Classic Oval die (Spellbinders), and popped it up with dimensional tape. If you click on the photos, you can see the sparkle on the Butterfly and shamrock better.

Oh wow Oh WOW! You make the best shaped cards, Tosh! This is so lush and makes me think of all the green hillsides in Ireland! Love that butterfly tucked in to the frame. Such gorgeous embellishing and love the Celtic print Happy Birthday. Somebody is going to REALLY celebrate when they see this in the mail :)!
