Nature

Boy, Thursday has arrived quickly once again. So, I have a CCEE Stamper's card to share with you. This time, we were challenged to use wood on our card. It could be a faux wood technique, embossed wood grain, or even.....real wood. *grin* I chose to use wood buttons.

I colored this gorgeous Flourishes Sunflower (that I got from Stamper's Dream), with Copics, cut it out, and popped it up onto Old School dp by PinkPaislee. The rest is pretty self explanatory, so I'll just list all the products used at the bottom of the post.

I have a second card to share with you today also.

For this card, I used Mojo Monday sketch #160 and one of JustRite's Nested Frames called Give Thanks. I loved the sentiment, as well as the sweet little leaf frame. I colored the leaves with Copics, and added some glitter and dots with Viva Decor Graphite Gel. The dp is Pink Paislee Sweetness, and the side border was made with an EK Success Punch. Lastly, I added some ribbon and ZVA Creative pearls.

Now, we'd love to have you join us in this week's challenge, so head on over to the CCEE Stamper's blog to see what the rest of the gals have done, and link your creations with Mr. Linky.

Thanks for dropping by!
Happy Stamping!
Tosh

Both cards are breath taking. I love the rustic detail on the sunflower and the vintage lace on the Autumn Blessings card.

Love your beautiful sunflower, Tosh, reminds me of some sunflowers that arrived at your house last week in a pumpkin. Great faux wood.

Both cards are beautiful! I love the distressed look on the sunflower card, and how you tilted your image (I never think to do that).

Love those sunflowers! Love that gem on the one petal. I have these stamps. They remain uninked... So sad. Must remedy that. :)

Love them both, great distressing and coloring on the first, like the paper you used for the background of the flower, the second is so soft and lovely, neat punched border with the pearls accenting!
