Christmas is almost here, and if we're not careful, we can let the busyness of it all suck the joy right out of this season. This sweet Penny Black image called In a Nutshell, just spoke to me today. Sometimes we just need to Relaaaaaaaaax!!!! This image would be darling as a baby card too. Either way, I just thought it was precious!! It's stamped with Versamark onto watercolor paper, embossed with Detail Black ep, and watercolored with Tombows. I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch as a starting point. The Melon Berry ribbon is from Papertrey, and the crocheted ruffle is May Arts ribbon. The Rhinestones are Kaisercraft, and the scalloped border was made with a Martha Stewart border punch. Oh, and I almost forgot, the gorgeous and sweet paper is from one of my all time favorite companies, My Mind's Eye. The Be-Loved kit is full of wonderful color combinations and charming patterns.

ya know what...I'm gonna close my eyes and imagine relaxing like this hedgie is doing....feeling the sunshine on my face.....maybe a slight WARM breeze.....and take an instant vacation CUZ reality is about to hit us in the form of a blizzard....and remember...my fellow shoveler just had back surgery....so I am going to be one miserable person rather quickly once the snow starts piling up.....SO......for now....I am going on an instant vacation inspired by your warm earthy, sweetie pie of a card
