Christmas in orange? Don't go there. I was trying to match the jamba juice gift card. And in person, it's really not that bad...I kind of liked it. Well, until I photographed it and began editing. The bird looks like a crow, and the stickles don't show up as much as irl...so it looks more Halloweenish. Sorry. I loved the idea though, and I won't have time to do this later as I have a ton of errands to do. But I wanted to show you this awesome idea that was used for the SCS Technique Challenge found HERE.For the front of my gift card holder, I used my new Labels I Nestabilities Diecut!! I LOVE this shape...I'm sure you will see me use it often.
I stamped Nature's Dance (Penny Black) with Tuxedo Black (Memento), onto Frosted Orange (Prismatics) I then sponged Dried Marigold (Ranger Distress) all over the panel, embossed it with the Leaf folder, and rubbed Tea Dye (Ranger) over the leaves. I then added Copper Stickles to the berries. The sentiment is from the Clear Design set Thinking of You Messages. I thought the brackets fit perfectly with the Labels I shape. *grin*
The sentiment on the inside is Script Merry Christmas (Northwoods)Be sure to check out the tutorial on SCS...It's so easy and has so many possibilities!!

I was looking through your cards and had to stop and closely look at the wonderful orange card.
I never thought of Halloween or thought the bird was a crow.
