Hello Power Poppy peeps!! Not only is it Friday, but it's the beginning of April already!! That is just crazy!! And, there is A LOT going on with Power Poppy today!! First of all.....it's Power Poppy's 2nd birthday,

Your creativity, love, and generosity of spirit is SO STRONG! We are thrilled to kick off another year of flowering and empowering together.

And now for my card ...Today's card was designed using a CardMaps sketch. Power Poppy is being featured in this month's PageMaps sketches. I was given the sketch you see on the right.
I combined two Power Poppy digital sets: Gerbera Daisies, Spring Meadow Bouquet (Bumblebee), and a clear set for the sentiment: Simply Camelias
I printed, colored (with Copics), scored, burninshed, and even separated each petal to make the Gerbera more "fluffly". There are 3 layers. I also curled the leaves a bit with my stylus.
I added an extra vellum layer to the bumblebee wings to give them a lighter feel.
Copics: R59, R56, R81, N8, N6, N4, N2, Y38, Y35, Y32, .01 Multiliner
That sums up my project for today, but there's more I need to share.
You have 3 options to "Pick 3"
1. Pick three markers from the same color family to create a monotone design
2. Pick three markers from complementary color families - easier to blend etc
3. For the courageous or expert....pick three random markers and color away.
