CCEE Sketch Challenge

I'm so excited to let you know that our CCEE group is stamping again after a 2 month break. There have been some changes though. First of all, 4 members have left for various reasons (Cindy Motherway, Carolyn King, Dawn Lusk and Deb Mills). Although they will be very missed, we know where to find them in the stamping world. :o) With their absence, we decided to add two new members. Joanne Grzelak, and Shirley Quarry! Two kind and wonderful stampers. We've also moved to Thursdays since Monday was a little hectic for some team members.

This month Cindy Haffner has provided a month of sketches. We hope you'll check our CCEE Stampers Blog each Thursday and participate with us. We'd love to see where your creativity takes you.

Now, for the card I created for this year's first CCEE Challenge.

I stamped this darling Penny Black image, called Heart Garland, with Versamark onto watercolor paper, and embossed it with Detail Black ep. I then watercolored it with Tombows. The sentiment is from Flourishes Gerbera Daisies set, and the charming paper is from My Mind's Eye Life Stories Collection.

The border was made with the SU! Scallop punch, and the image is framed with Spellbinders' Labels 3 Nestabilities die. All the edges were ink distressed with Frayed Burlap and Vintage Photo Ranger Distress inks.

Finally, I added some ribbon (SU! and American Craft), a Rusty Pickle Button, and some Maya Road Heart pins.

Just a little reminder that Michelle is having some Sales and Specials over at Stamper's Dream to make room for new product after CHA. Here are just a few of the items on sale: Spellbinders, Prismatics, JustRite, My Mind's Eye, Whiff of Joy

That about sums this baby up!
Hope you're having a fabulous week.
I'm fighting the flu...HARD. So hopefully next week goes smoother.
Happy Stamping my friends!!!
