A challenging technique...

Whoooooaaa!! This was tough!! Frances (StampOwl) challenged us to try a new technique this week. It's called Black Magic.

I''m not happy with this card at all, but I have to post it due to the challenge.....*groan*. If you'd like to see what the other girls have done, go to the CCEE Stamper's blog. There are also instructions there on how you can play along.

The image is stamped with white craft ink and colored with color pencils. Well, it's hard to see by the photo...glittered images are atrocious to photograph...but the bird is red, and the *Joy* is green. Both are coated with Ultrafine Art Institute glitter. All the panels are edged with the white craft also.

Now for the white bg panel, I used a *new to me* product. Doodlebug Design Inc. has come up with double-sided adhesive shapes. The ones I used are called Fancy That stick with it adhesive. You just peel them off, stick them to the surface you would like, peel the top layer off and sprinkle your glitter on them. Way cool!! You could also sprinkle velvet flock on it too. Way too fun!! The Unity Stamps snowflake panel was stamped with SU's white craft also and has Creative Imagination's gems in their centers.

I finished off the card with some offray ribbon and a snowflake charm. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Stamps - Snowflake Joy (Unity Stamps)
Paper - Black, Crabapple Medium and White (Prismatics)
