Hello friends!!! I hope you've been enjoying a really nice weekend. We received some much needed rain yesterday, and it helped clear up some of the smoke in the air from all the CA fires. I am so very thankful!! Coloring this charming little village scene with the church centralized really helped me reflect on all that I am grateful for.
I'm in a vintage mood right now I think because I can't help going all soft and pinky with all my coloring lately. So here you have it again today. Power Poppy is featuring this sweet little Glitter House Village and it has a bunch of sweet background and filler images. LOVE them!! Today, the village is colored with copics and I added a sprinkling of glitter to all the snow and ornaments. The diecut background is also glittery, but it's hard to see in this photo.
Copics: House 1 ~ R85, R83, R81, C02, C0, C00, Y15 House 2 ~ R22, R21, R20, RV02, C02, C0, C00, Y15 Church ~ C02, C0, C00, Y15, E53 Wreaths and Trees ~ G21, G20, E53, E51
That's it for my project today. If you haven't checked out the following Bloom Brigade Blogs, be sure to stop by for a visit. They have really done some super special things with this set.
Thanks so much for visiting!!
Happy Stamping!

ReplyDeleteOh, Tosh, praise God for the rain! You surely needed it, and I trust that California will get more to help combat all the fires...such sadness. But what a beautiful way to spend some time coloring this absolutely darling Christmas village! And what sweet pastel colors you've used and such an amazing frame (wish Waltzingmouse were still around...) with a gorgeous snowflake background! Absolutely stunning, and I can hardly wait to get this set!! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh I absolutely LOVE the way you showcased the village with those die cut snowflakes over a gray background! So, so pretty! This is my favorite version yet!
ReplyDeleteWow, the diecut background and frame really make a dramatic backdrop for your village! Stunning!

ReplyDeleteSuper cute! The die cut frame is awesome for the snowy like background, beautiful framed.
