Hello my creative friends!! Power Poppy is releasing 3...yep 3 digital sets today, and they are perfect for the guys in your lives. Reel Deal, Leaping Trout and Fly Guy. I decided to use the Leaping Trout with sentiments from the set Reel Deal. The image is colored with Copics with some Clear Wink of Stella added to it. Because if you've ever seen fish scales in the sunlight, they are beautiful and sparkly. I lightened the sentiment "You're the Reel Deal" in Photoshop, and ink distressed using
Antique Linen and Forrest Moss (Ranger Distress Ink)
Below is a close-up of the image so you can see the sparkle. If you click on it, it's a bit easier to see, however Wink of Stella is hard to see in photos.
That sums up my card for today. Nothing too detailed, because my husband is a simple kind of guy. He totally misses all the extras I usually add. ;)
Copics: Fish ~ BG99BG96, BG93, BG90, YG00, C1, C0, C00, R00 Water ~ B26, B24, B21, B000

Fantastic coloring of the trout, Tosh! Interesting the Copics you used to get it just perfect. You mean your hubby wouldn't go for lacy die cuts and pearls and distressing? What is wrong with him? Really, this couldn't be more awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh, Tosh, I love your card and your fabulous layout! Love the DP and the sponging you've done for the sentiment along with the sweet little clip! Beautifully done, and I love this trout! Love the curved stitched dies you've used twice this week. Been eyeing them myself and really like the look. Great masculine card, sweet friend! Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous manly card (contradiction of words I know) Tosha. Love how you colored the salmon!
ReplyDeleteAwesome guy card! You can rock anything girlie. Your fish is too cool and great stitched look to the border.
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous! Have a Blessed day!
