Maize for Days ~ Power Poppy

http://powerpoppy.com/collections/digital-stamps/products/maize-for-days
Heeeellllllloooo friends!!!  I am so excited to share today's Power Poppy card with you.  Fall is my absolute favorite season, and Marcy has designed an absolutely fantastic new digi set that I just adore!!  It's called Maize For Days and the main image is a bunch of Indian Corn.  I LOVE Indian Corn.  I even have some displayed in my kitchen right now along with one of my favorite things to collect...pumpkins.
And isn't this corn grouping just fabulous?  Seriously!!  And Marcy got "puny" this time too with 3 charming sentiments to go along with it.

I used so many different Copics on this image, I won't even begin to list them, but it was super fun to color, and it really didn't take much time at all.
http://powerpoppy.blogspot.com/Since it's the beginning of a new month, we have a new Power and Spark challenge hosted by the sweet Bloomie Kathy.  We are to "embellish" to our heart's content.  I used sequins, some gold fiber, and a gold enamel dot.  I also used a border punch as well as a couple of dies.

That's it for my project today.  Be sure to stop by the following Bloom Brigade Blogs if you haven't already.  These gals have got some serious skilz!!!

Thank you so much for dropping by!!  I hope you have a beautiful weekend!!
    Happy Stamping!

  1. Oh, Tosh! I just took a breath and sighed when I saw this - it's gorgeous - so rich and autumnal! The kernels look so real and dimensional - wow! And I love the earthy tones and the beautiful layout with your perfect embellishments. And the sponging around the circle is just perfect. What a stunning and warm card for the fall. Makes me want to sit by a fire and chat with a friend...shall we? Hugs!

  9. Oh! Oh! Oh! Your Indian corn looks so REAL! Seriously, your coloring is a-MAIZE-ing (sorry, couldn't resist). My late husband grew some beautiful Induan corn and this is every bit as pretty as what he brought in from the garden. Thanks for sharing and giving me a trip down memory lane today. nise
