Happy Friday!! I have a lot to share with you today because Power Poppy is hopping this month. First of all, since it's the first Friday of the month, we're starting a new Power and Spark Challenge. This month we're required to "use bits and pieces" of a stamp image. How fun is that!! Marcy often makes beautiful collages of images and breaking them up can really make some areas of the image "pop".
I chose to use Mojo Monday sketch 281 along with Power Poppy's Olive and Oak digital image. I also used a sentiment from the Power Poppy Clear set called Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips. It's my son and his wife's first anniversary in a couple of days, and I thought this Fall image fit perfectly.
The image was printed onto X-Press It cardstock and was colored with copics.
The rest is pretty straight forward, so that sums it up for my project today. Be sure and check out what the following Bloom Brigaders have to share today though. These gals don't mess around, let me tell you. They always pull out all the stops with their coloring and designs.
Copics: Acorns ~ E49, E47, E18, E19, E17, E35, E13, E31, E30, E000, G85, YG63 Olives ~ G28, G24, YG03, T8, T6, T4, T2, R05 Olive Leaves ~ G28, G24, YG03 Oak Leaves ~ G28, G24, YG03, R05, R02, YR02, YR01
Tomorrow is World Card Making Day, and Power Poppy is joining in on all the fun!! So stop by the Power Poppy Blog tomorrow for some more info and inspiration!! I have something all sparkly to share too!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great weekend and are inspired to stamp and or color!
Happy Stamping!

Wow, Tosh, this is gorgeous, and your coloring is so rich and dramatic! And the three matted circles are such a great idea with the fabulous DP you've used and the twine, border, and sequins. Totally inspiring and such a wonderful anniversary card! Hugs!
ReplyDeletePowerful, Tosh, I really love this treatment... wouldn't have occurred to me to do these "spotlight" images with Olive and Oak, and man, it looks like a knockout!! The dark colors really ground this one... it's awesome. Awesome!!
