Hello friends!! I have a special card to share today. I made it for two celebrations. One, my daughter turns 21 in a couple of days, and two, the Waltzingmouse Fanatics Blog is celebrating their one year Anniversary. This week's challenge is to make a birthday, or Anniversary card in honor of their Anniversary. And if you participate, you could win one of my favorite stamp sets and dies being offered by the sweet, talented and generous Jeanne Jachna.
Waltzingmouse Stamps just released 8 fabulous new stamp sets this month, and one of them happens to be Hello, Happy Thanks. I LOVE the font with the large and small sentiments! I thought it would be fun to emboss on them on vellum, and I found that they emboss so crisp and beautifully!! I embossed the sentiment with silver, and added some white embossed flourishes to the edges using the Flourishes - Scallops and Dots set. I used my Xyron 900 to add adhesive to the back of the vellum so you wouldn't be able to see the tape or glue.
Here's a close up so you can see the flourishes better, as well as the silver embossing.
That's it for my project today. I hope you'll decide to join the Waltzingmouse Fanatics challenge. We'd love to see how you use your Waltzingmouse images!!
Thank you so much for dropping by! I hope you're having a fantastic week!
Happy Stamping!
