Power Poppy June Release!!





It's finally here!!  Power Poppy Release Day has arrived!!  You can now purchase these new sets:  Lavender, Play Ball, Sassy Succulents and Dynamic Duo: Peonies and Tulips


Here to tempt you once again, is a card I made using one of the Lavender images!!  I LOVE the rustic can and the wildflower feel to this image, so I wanted to make the card really rustic.  I stamped the image, onto Kraft card stock, with Tuxedo Memento Black ink, and colored it with Polychromos pencils.  I then distressed the edges with some Gesso.  I die cut it with the Large Deckled Rectangle die (Spellbinders), and mounted it against a brick backdrop which I created by brayering white pigment ink onto Spellbinders' Brick M-Bossibilities folder and ran it through my Grand Calibur.  Lastly, I added some felt flags, a die cut "Happy Birthday" sentiment (Spellbinders), a doily and button.

    Oh, Tosh, this is beautiful! I love the softness of the kraft and your texture from dry embossing and the felt and buttons! Beautifully colored on the kraft paper...wow! Really beautiful birthday card!! Love another beauty! Hugs!

    Bee-U-tiful, Tosh! I love the look of the coloring on kraft with the gesso along the edges. Oh, and the brick wall is fabulously authentic. This is pretty much everything I love wrapped up in one awesome card!

    Mercy Tosh..what a shabby,chic, vintage beauty....but then, that is the stuff that just oozes from those creative pores of yours....that and glitter, am I right? ;) Nobody, and I mean nobody, does this style better than you, girlfriend...those lavender couldn't be any happier than in the setting you created for them. So very pretty!
