One of my mom's favorite flowers was the purple pansy, and when I saw this sketch, I thought the pansies from the A Year in Flowers 1 would fit beautifully in an octagon shape.
IRL this card is very dimensional. I used some pretty thick foam mounting squares, but it's so hard to capture with a camera.
