It's Day One of Waltzingmouse's October Release Peeks, and I couldn't be more excited to share these unique images with you! We're Featuring a set called Yonder Star, and a Background image called Yonder Star Background.
I have two projects to share with you, and my first features the star in all it's glory. I just stamped it with Versamark, and embossed it with Fantasy White ep by Sweet Stamps. I love the sparkle. I fussy cut some of the layers of the star and popped them up for a bit of dimension. The horizontal strip is the Yonder Star Background stamped with Pistachio Memento ink. I scored the bg panel with my Scor-Buddy and added the cowboy sentiment with Onyx Black Versafine.
This card (or plaque...whatever I want it to be... it's 6x6) was stamped using the same star as well as a small distressed star. I used two Memento Inks: Peanut Brittle and Teal Zeal. I loved the pattern so much I didn't want to cover any of it. I also spritzed some Creme de Chocolat Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angels) over it to give it a more distressed look.
That's it for Day 1. There are 3 more days of exciting Waltzingmouse Reveals before these sets are available. So be sure to stop by the next few days.
Here's a Hop list in case you've missed a stop.
Thanks for visiting!
Happy Stamping!

ReplyDeleteYour cards are absolutely gorgeous! I love the simplicity and elegance of both. Thank You for sharing and inspiring .
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. I just love all the layering on that star.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...love the elegant layered star and the pilgrim sentiment.
ReplyDeleteYour star card is Gorgeous. I love how you layered it all and embossed the base. Looks so cool how you banded the back ground stamp around the middle like a belly ban. I laughed out loud when I read the "Pilgrim" sentiment. I immediately had to read it again out loud with the emphasis on "Pilgrim" like I was John Wayne. So fun! I only laughed as I didn't expect it, but admit I love it! Too Funny....
ReplyDeleteYour second card is so beautiful. It's great colors and I love the pattern and how you framed the sentiment right in the center. Perfect! Gorgeous cards. Thanks for the inspiration and the smiles.
