It's just not the same...
Apparently, it's National Pink Day today. So Frances has challenged everyone to include pink on their card over at the CCEE Stampers Blog.
My card is kind of dark today. I guess it kind of suits the sentiment? I think I should have refrained from sponging the inside of the oval and left it all white. Oh well. Like I said, it fits the mood of the sentiment, which is from the Verve set Always on my mind. I used the Mojo Monday sketch #196 as my starting point, and added the Out of Print Basicgrey dp, some I-Roc crystals, a couple of staples, and some sewing. Pretty straight forward.
Thanks for stopping by. Stop by tomorrow for a complete opposite card. You might want to wear sunglasses when viewing though. *grin*
Happy stamping my friends!!
Tosh

This is a very different style of creation for you, Tosh. Kinda funky and groovylicious with that fab dp. I like the sponging on the sentiment to match the mood of it.
ReplyDeletedark, but still rich and warm...love that dp....and it wouldn't be a Tosh card without the sponging...you are the Sponging Queen, my dear
