CCEE Get Well Card
Hi friends!! Once again Thursday has snuck up on me. But that's a good thing, because it means the weekend is right around the corner!! Woot!! So, I have a CCEE Stamper's Challenge to share with you today. Frances has us making a "Get Well" card. I rarely use that particular sentiment. I always head for the "Thinking of You" ones for an ill friend. So, this time I used a sentiment from the Verve set Circular sayings.
The tile frame was made by first die-cutting the frame with Square Nestabilities (Spellbinders), I then cut each individual square (marking the backs with a number first so I knew how to reassemble), ink distressed it, then lined them up around the center square. I added some Glossy accents over the frame too, but it's hard to see in the photo.
Before leaving, head on over to the CCEE Stamper's Blog to see what the other gals have come up with. We'd love to see your "Get Well" cards too. So be sure to add your creation with Mr. Linky.
Thanks for stopping by!!
Happy stamping!!
Tosh

ReplyDeleteTHis tiled Get Well card is breath taking, Tosh. Those painstakingly distressed tiles turned out marvelously. And your floral vignette in the upper right hand corner just ran away with my heart. Goodness! You sure make the most beautiful things.
