One of a kind

My son's over 1000 miles away at college, and has had a rough first few weeks due to the flu that our family shared with him before we left. Wasn't that nice of us? *groan*

So, I thought I'd send him a little care package to cheer him up. This is the card I made to go with the package. I paper pieced one of the trees from Papertrey's Father knows Best and used a sentiment from Friendly Expressions by Anna Wight (Whipper Snapper Designs).

    My daughter is 700 miles away and it is tough for us moms when they are sick. I hope he feel better soon. This is a terrific 'manly' card to send.

    Great card! Love the colors and how you did the rolling land both in the circle and under it. Hope that getting this is just the medicine to make your son feel fine again.

    What a darling card with my favorite DP. I'm so sorry to hear your son is dealing with the flu. Poor guy. I do hope he's on the mend soon and is able to re-hydrate.

    sorry to hear he is away from home and sick, I am hoping we get over ours before our daughter comes home from college in a couple weeks for a long weekend.
