We live in central Florida in a tiny pocket that is usually about 10 degrees colder in the winter than the surrounding communities. I envy your palm tree. Ours always burn back in the winter. But it's a pleasure looking out over the pasture at the frostiness of morning's crystalized dew, or at the textures formed by miniscule ice formations on pansies and leaves. I hate to complain because I know others are knee deep in snow, but oh how I wish my fingers would stay defrosted all day, lol. Love the photos. . .and remembering what life was like in the Central Valley. . .(though it's only been 7 months since we moved from east of Modesto!). Though I don't miss the fog, I will miss the summer fruits. . no place grows 'em quite like the Central Valley!
