Bunnies 4 Sale

I made this card for SCS's Inspiration challenge!! I loved the blue and white scene!! I just had to play. Now that I see these images together, I realize mine looks green. I had a hard time with the stickles and the lacquer, thus the dark bg. I assure you it's blue. I stamped the image on Papertrey White cs and colored it with copics. Crystal Ice Stickles were added to the filler and the bunnies bows. 3-D crystal lacquer coats the heart. The frame was cut with nestabilities by Spellbinders, and the scallops at the bottom were done with a scallop scissors by fiskars. The lattice is a diecut by Cuttlebug. I used a white Sakura souffle pen for the doodles.

Supplies:
Stamp - Rubbernecker - Bunnies for Sale
Paper - Bazzill Basics Poolside collection Trio of Trios, Papertrey White
Ink - Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink
Accessories - Copics, Crystal Ice Stickles, 3-D Crystal Lacquer, nestabilities, Cuttlebug diecut, Sakura white Souffle pen

Butterfly CardArt

I love these CardArt Stamps by Hero Arts. Can you tell? This is my third one. LOL They're awesome for a quick card. I dressed this one up a bit more though. I stamped the image on two different pieces of Memory Box Studio designer paper, cut off the bottom, attached it to the top piece, cut the wings of the butterfly and folded them up to give a bit of dimension, added some stickles and Rhinestone stickers, and woila!! finished! Oops...the bottom edge was made with a fiskars scallop scissors.
Head on over to Stamper's Dream for this stamp and the supplies I used!
Michelle has a wonderful variety of stamps and embellishments and some new Memory Box papers that are AWESOME!!! I can't get mine soon enough!!!

Supplies:
Stamp - Hero Arts CardArt Best
Paper - Memory Box Studio, Black
Ink - Ranger Black Soot Distress INk
Accessories - Icicle stickles, K&Company Rhinestone stickers, exacto knife, fiskars scallop scissors

CCEE Monday Challenge

Is it Monday already?!?! Boy does time fly!! Well, since it is... (well, in a few hours), that means it's time once again to post a card that I was challenged to make with a few crazy SCSers. This week we were all mailed supplies by StampOwl (Frances) who I lovingly call Hoots. The supplies we were to use are shown below. We were to use at least one side of the dp, the clear flower, at least one brad, and the buckle...we could change the ribbon if we wanted to.

The bg is one of the new Cuttlebug embossing folders Distressed stripes. I punched the flower backing and the little flower with EK Success flower punches, and the sentiment is a Hero Arts Clear stamp set called Treasure the Moments. You can find it at Stamper's Dream.
It's an awesome set with beautiful embellishment stamps to go with the wonderful sentiments!!

Supplies:
Stamps - Hero Arts - Treasure the Moments
Paper - SU Elegant Eggplant, Barely Banana, Bazzill Bling ivory, Imaginisce dp
Ink - Ranger Black Soot Distress INk
Accessories - scallop scissors, nestabilities, cuttlebug, EK Success flower punches, Making Memories velvet brad, Scotch Dimensional Tape, Making Memories (brads, buckle, flower)

Hi There Chickee!!

Isn't this chick just adorable?!?! I love that you can piece the egg or color it...the possibilities are endless!!! You can find this guy at Rubbernecker. I decided to piece it with Basicgrey Two Scoops Paper. The very bg piece that is embossed with the new cuttlebug Rough Diamond folder, is also from the Two Scoops pack. The flower piece is Autumn Leaves Paperbilities paper that I got at Walmart yesterday. It worked perfect with the Basicgrey. The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Thinking of you Messages. The sentiment can be found at Stamper's Dream.

I gave it a little sparkle with my Quickie Glue Pen and Ultra fine glitter, and added the Adorn it jewels around the edges and in the flower. The jewels can be found at Papertrey.

Oh, and I made this card according to the Sketch challenge at SCS. Check it out if you haven't already. That about sums it all up.

Supplies:
Stamps - Rubbernecker - Chip
Stamper's Dream - Thinking of you Messages
Paper - Basicgrey Two Scoops, Autumn Leaves Paperbilities, SU Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery, Papertrey White
Ink - Certainly Celery, Cameo Coral
Accessories - Adornit jewel stickers, SU oval punch, Cuttlebug Rough Diamond folder, scallop scissors, copics

Elegant Flower

I made this card for the Color Challenge on SCS. We were to use: Certainly Celery, Orchid Oplulence, and Pumpkin Pie. Now that was a challenge!! WOW!! Here's what I came up with.

I love this Hero Arts flower!! I would normally dirty it up a bit, but I didn't feel it would lend itself very well with this particular color combo, so I *prettied* it up instead with a lot of sparkle and bling. I'm a huge fan of the Penny Black Stamp - Scrolling Along, that I used on the bg too. It has very fine and gorgeous swirls, hearts and teeny flowers. So many possibilities!! LOVE IT!!

I colored the flower with SU markers of the challenge colors and added ultrafine glitter with my Quickie glue pen. The tiny rhinestones are by Hero Arts too. The bg was stamped with Versamark and colored with my Sakura White Souffle pen, and ultrafine glitter. I blinged up the sentiment the same way. The scallops were made with my SU slit punch. The sentiment comes with a bunch of awesome clear stamps by Hero Arts. Love them too. They have all different fonts, and a few little extras that come in handy when embellishing. That's about it.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stamper's Dream - Hero Arts Elegant Flower, Penny Black - Scrolling along, Hero Arts - Thinking of you messages
Paper - Orchid Opulence, Certainly Celery, Papertrey White
Ink - SU markers, Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink
Accessories - Quickie Glue Pen, Ultrafine glitter, SU slit punch, SU gingham ribbon, SU corner ticket punch. Hero Arts Rhinestone Stickers

Okay, now for my card......

I'm kicking and screaming while posting this card!!! It's Monday, and that means posting a challenge that I do with a small group of CRAZY SCSers. This week....thanks to someone negatively commenting on one of Cindy's (Mothermark) rules about a card with buttons, we all had to make a card................with 18 buttons on it!! Now how ridiculous is that??!?!? I don't even normally use buttons. So this card about put me over the edge. That's why it's posted soooooo late too!!! *groan* Now all the others made awesome button cards....I struggled and struggled and struggled...well you get the idea. So, humbly, I present to you my 18 (good grief) button card!!! NEVER AGAIN CINDY!!!! NEVER!!!

These bunnies are adorable though. So I couldn't totally ruin the card. The stamp redeems it I think. This card is pretty straight forward....I stamped the Rubbernecker image with Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink on Papertrey White paper....that's my favorite ink and paper for coloring with copics. The circle and scallop are Nestabilities by Spellbinders. And the dp is Daisy D's Heirloom Dot. I doodled around the edges and added a scrappers floss bow at the top. The heart is coated with Glossy Accents by Ranger. I added a little sparkle to the basket filler and the bunnies bows too. That's it. Sooooo little, for soooooooooo much pain!! Augh!!

Supplies:
Stamps - Rubbernecker - Bunnies For Sale
Paper - Sage Shadow, Forest Foliage, Daisy D's, Papertrey White
Ink - Sage Shadow, Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink
Accessories - Nestabilities, Copics, Buttons (duh?!?), Glossy Accents, Scrappers Floss, Scotch Dimensional Tape, Sakura purple souffle pen, Sakura Quickie Glue Pen, Ultrafine Glitter

NowI have an expanded list that I'm sure my husband will appreciate hearingabout. Especially since he's a work-a-holic and we have to drag him alongto the places we do actually get to visit. *grin*

I don't know how to do that counter thingy yet. That's on my list of things to learn. SoI just asked my DD once again to pick a number. She picked the number 7. Congratulations Hilmarose!!

Oh my goodness!! I love the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoaststampers because sometimes I get introduced to a wonderful gallery that I haven't run across before, and other times I get to case someone that I've long admired. This is just such a case!! Betty has so much creative talent!! I love her style!

Here's her card that I cased: Very Merry
I love her layout!! And that ribbon poking out of both ends is just too cute! I didn't have wide enough ribbon that matched the colors I used, so I doubled mine up instead!!

Isn't this frog just too cute?!?!?!? I love the cattails too. Rubbernecker has a whole series of adorable frogs. You really should go check them out!! I gave this frog a coat of Ranger Glossy accents to shiny him up a bit. The edges are distressed with Ranger Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

Teeny Tiny Love birds

I was inspired to make this card by the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. I love this stamp by Hero Arts. It's from their CardArt line. The whole card is just one stamp. I just stamped the image on three different colored papers. Cut them out and pieced them together so the whole card would be flush, and just added a touch of embellishments!!
Crackle Accents on the Love tag, and Glossy accents on the birds (Both are by Ranger), and Diamond Stickles on the lace. I also ink distressed the edges with Ranger Frayed burlap distress ink. That's it. The card size is only 2 3/4" x 3 7/8". I cute tiny little love note that only takes minutes to make. You can find this stamp, as well as others like it, at Stamper's Dream.

Supplies:
Stamp - Hero Arts CardArt Love Birds

Thank You Gift

I want to take this time to thank all of you for visiting my blog. I planned on offering this blog candy when I hit 5000 visits, but that happened the day before I left for CHA. So, now I'm finally getting around to it. This is what is included: DCWV Pocket Full of Posies, Hero Arts Clear Design "S" stamps, Maya Road Velvet Flowers, Robins Nest Pebbles, Diamond Stickles, Silver Liquid Pearls, Rain Dots, Pearls, and Ribbon.

I Love to travel and to dream about where I'd like to go. To be entered in for this candy, all you have to do is leave a comment about where your dream vacation would be. My dream vacation is Australia. It's been a dream of mine since I was 10. I still have a koala Gund Bear that my dad gave me that year because that's all I could talk about. He traveled to many places with me throughout High School and College. Hopefully someday I'll get to go and see a koala in person. As well as the Great Barrier Reef, Kangaroos, and my good friend StampOwl (Frances) *grin*. So, now's your chance to tell me your dream vacation!! I will pick a winner by Monday morning. I can't wait to hear about your dream place to visit!!!

Here are a couple of pictures of the new Basicgrey Papers. Sorry for the poor quality. I didn't have my good camera and the lighting was terrible.

Asian Pearls

I am sooooo excited to show you this card!! I made it by using Perfect Pearls by Ranger!!!
First I stamped the Image by Rubbernecker with the Perfect medium also by Ranger. Then I just applied the perfect pearls with a fine brush. After applying all the colors, I took a thicker brush and brushed off the excess!! Woila... Ultra cool! The *binding* is already in the medium so you don't have to seal it. I don't have many perfect pearls colors, so I used a purplish color by Jacquard Products for the water, and softened the brightness by adding the pewter perfect pearls on top. The shrine is colored with the copper, and the sky with the pewter. I love the shine!! I also coated the cuttlebug diecut with the perfect medium and perfect pearls. It started out just plain black, but after adding the Perfect Pearls, it looks like a piece of hardware!! Sooooo cool!!

Sorry this is late guys. I had to take my daughter to the doctor. We've been fighting bad colds here and she got the worst of it. They put her on heavy antibiotics for Bronchitis. It's been years since she's been sick, so she's a bit frustrated over missing school. High School is tough enough when you're there all the days!! LOL

Enough of our sob story. I just got home a bit ago and asked her to pick a number. She came up with 14. So our winner is Pegg S. Her comment was:
#14 Love your coloring! What a fantastic card! My favorite (right now) is using Tombow/SU markers and a watercolor brush. I'm trying to practice and get better. Too many fun techniques - not enough time!

Pegg, email me at www.stamps4fun@hotmail.com and I'll give you the code to use to claim your Rubbernecker bucks!! Congratulations!! And happy shopping!!

Oh!! Did you want to see a card too? Well, I made this one just for this occasion. Well, not the bad day part, but all the images can be found at Rubbernecker in the Jitter Bug section. The images were stamped with Ranger Black Soot Distress ink and were colored with copics. I ran out of white eyelets, so I compensated by using my crop-a-dile and outlined the holes with my Sakura white souffle pen. I thought the faux eyelets went well with the eyelets in the shoe. The sentiment was created with my Mac Windows program, printed on an ivory paper I had laying around and punched out with SU's word window punch. I added the leg by just cutting some bazzill sponging the edges with Salmon Adirondack ink, and sliding it in the slit I cut in the top of the shoe.

Okay, here's where I confess. This whole concept is not entirely mine...very little actually. *grin* Laurie (Lauraly) told me to have a shoe hovering over the ant. And Carolyn (Cammie) gave me the sentiment idea. What good friends I have!! Woot!!

Supplies
Stamps - Rubbernecker
Paper - Ballet Blue, Groovy Guava
Ink - Adirondack Salmon, Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink
Accessories - Crop-a-dile, Sakura White Souffle Pen, Queen and Co. mini sprinkles, SU word window punch, sponge, copics

Spring or Winter?

Isn't this guy just adorable? I had the opportunity to go to a stamp festival in Riverside, CA last weekend. What fun!! This guy just called out to me in the *Stamps by Judith* booth. You see, Monday is the day I upload a challenge that a few SCSers and I put together each week. This week Cindy (Mothermark) challenged us to make a card based on what we thought the groundhog was going to predict...spring vs winter. Well, Hoots here was sooooo looking forward to spring that I just couldn't disappoint him. He's so excited about being popular this year. I mean Owls are everywhere, and he wanted to get his face out there...let everyone know he's the *who's who* of owls. If you'd like to see what season the others predicted, go HERE.

Here are the details:
This card is 5 1/4" x 5 1/4". First I stamped Hoots and the sentiment on Papertrey White cs (my favorite for coloring with copics) with Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink. I think the dp's are SU, but I'm not sure which ones. I used my nestabilities to cut the circles, and the outside scallop was cut off by using a slightly smaller circle die cut. I feel it gives the circle a more masculine feel. I couldn't find my SU corner ticket punch, so I had to adapt. I just used the end of the SU tag punch to cut off the corners. A corner rounder was used for the sentiment. The edges are ink distressed with Ranger Walnut Distress Ink, and each panel is lifted with scotch dimensional tape. This card is for my dear friend Frances (StampOwl on SCS). Ya think she'll like the owl stamp? LOL

Supplies
Stamps - Stamps by Judith
Paper - SU River Rock, Choc. Chip, Papertrey White, SU dp
Ink - Ranger Black Soot and Walnut Distress Ink
Accessories - Nestabilities, Copics, SU tag and corner ticket punch, Rusty Pickle Ribbon, SU Choc. Chip Grossgrain ribbon, brads, sponge, Scotch dimensional tape
